The green café complements the red reception: red wakes you up, while green relaxes.The exciting interior of our own Café de la Paix is the result of a collaboration between the architect David Adjaye and the British artist Chris Ofili.
Ofili, who is of Nigerian descent, painted the mural "Earth major minor in yellow and green" in the Café de la Paix. Green represents hope, nature, harmony and peace. Notice, too, the ceiling with its original decoration, which is the subject of a preservation order.
Pascal Dupuy opened his first patisserie in historic premises at No. 11 Tollbugata in Oslo in June 1995. Here he makes all his own cakes, using secret recipes. Pascal is the ninth owner of the bakery, which first opened in 1895.
