Oslo Rådhus, Rådhushalle - City Hall
Inside the Oslo Rådhus (town hall) several art galleries can be found among the offices of the city council and city administration. Constructed in 1950, the building features an impressive entrance hall where the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony takes place each year in December. The interior of the building is richly decorated with the creations of famous Norwegian artists. Works of arts featured in the building hail from the first part of the 20th Century. Guided tours of the "structure of the century", are available free of charge to the public. In all the building demonstrates styles from the romanticism, functionalism, and classicism styles.
