Stortinget City Hall
Serving as home to the Norwegian Parliament, the Stortinget (literally meaning "The Great Assembly") is located in the capital city Oslo. Roughly 25.000 visitors partake in guided tours of the facility each year. The Stortinget City Hall was designed with a neo-Romanesque style by Swedish architect Emil Victor Langlet. Construction on the building was completed between 1861 and 1866. The interior of the Stortinget City Hall is richly decorated with the works of contemporary Norwegian artists. Situated in front of the building is a popular park that is one of the busiest in the city during the summer. Reservations for guided tours are not required.
